Kathadin is the best! After months of research we decided to go with Katahdin. It was the best decision we've made in our life. The quality of every log was exceptional. The package was awesome, and the price very reasonable for the amount of materials we received. We had one large beam we were not satisfied with, and the company replaced it with no question. We designed our own floorplans, and the company was very willing to work with us, (and we were very picky). Everything went very smoothly from design to delivery. The Summit model We feel that Katahdin's customer service was wonderful to deal with. Their product is phenomenal, excellent wood quality. They were flexible to deal with because we wanted to customize the home and do some of the finish work ourselves. The dealers worked with us through the whole process. Our only complaint is that the designers didn't warn us that the placement of our fireplace was not ideal and our builder had some problems with the plans and wished that they had been more detailed. Mike and Loren Laughlin, dealers from New Jersey, treated us wonderfully throughout this process. They couldn't have been any better.
